About Vishwarekha

Vishwarekha Biotech is the brainchild of Mr. Vishwas Jogdand, a legendary personality in the field of Polyhouse technologies and providing the best solution for Polyhouse cultivation through Indian Green Houses Pvt. ltd. We are a young tissue culture laboratory micro-propagating and specializing in exotic indoor ornamental plants. Vishwarekha Biotech is a sister company of Vishwarekha Flowers, one of the biggest growers in India, and was established in 2016 with the need for inhouse consumption of around 3 to 5 million plants, and have since grown tremendously. We now have the capacity to produce 10 million plants annually and have big plans for expansions! We are one of the biggest providers for the ornamental pot plant industry locally and we aim to deliver export level plants to local growers. Customer satisfaction is one of our primary goals because above all we love our plant babies and want to always provide excellent quality to our clients.

What do we do?

In the last few years, we have become a grower trusted provider of Tissue Culture Ornamental Plants. At present, we are producing over a 100 varieties of indoor ornamental plants. So far, we’ve worked with more than a 1000 growers in India and we have international clients as well. Since, we are growers ourselves we understand the need for acquiring quality young plants.

Here at Vishwarekha, we strive to provide quality products in quantity. We have stringent quality control measure and try to provide the best to our clients.

We are situated in a strategic location at Talegaon Floriculture Park, blessed with bountiful weather of Maval, about 30 km from the center of Pune city, Maharashtra, India. The place is well connected to the national and international airport, seaport and national highways. The tissue culture facility is built in an area of 14,000 sq. feet consisting of well-defined sterile and non-sterile areas.

Our Staff

A team of 90 experienced operators, led by technical experts in the field, is engaged on 52 laminar air flow cabinets. Good laboratory practices (GLPs) are maintained by the operators to handle each and every operation. 24 hours power supply is available for the premises supported with generator backup in case of any power failures. We are also equipped with an ultra-modern hardening facility to handle millions of plants. We have 6 huge modern playhouses; 2 dedicated for primary hardening and 4 for secondary hardening in a total area of about 4.5 acres. Apart from this we have 2 large climate chambers of 3 acres. A team of 30 trained personnel led by 3 technically strong supervisors are engaged in the activities of hardening units. Our lab managers have an experience of 15 plus years each and our well versed in handling protocols, media preparatory protocols etc.
